A model of the external female genitalia manufactured from a soft, lifelike plastic, with a set of six interchangeable cervix simulations. The cervix simulations are inserted into the model to allow the student to practice measuring the cervix prior to birth. The stages are no dilatation, 2cm dilatation with 50% effacement, and 2cm, 5cm, 7cm, and 9cm with full effacement. Because of the lifelike nature of the materials used, the model should be treated with the care accorded to a real subject, adding extra value to the model as a teaching aid.
