Provides a carefully formulated Hoagland's culture medium powder, 12 tubes each producing 10 litres of plant culture solution, to furnish all the elements necessary for satisfactory plant growth, plus two sets of water culture reagents for experiments in mineral deficiency. One set in tablet form, prepared according to Sach's formula, with eight tubes of 10 tablets, each tablet producing 250ml. The second set, in powder form, prepared according to the Long Ashton formula, with nine tubes of powder, each making 2 litres.
