This kit allows students to gain an insight into the action of enzymes. Reagents are supplied preweighed and only need the addition of water. The eight experiments investigate the activities of urease and amylase. They examine the influences of inhibitors, pH, enzyme and substrate concentration and temperature. Quantitative results are obtained and the detailed instruction booklet has a section on theory. Suitable for a group of 10 A level students.
